VIVE is a voluntary, continuous improvement sustainability programme for ingredient supply chains, covering all operations and activities for producers through to end users that have a bearing on sustainability.
VIVE is for businesses that want to do more than just to tick a box for sustainability, they want to participate because they know that it is key to their continued growth and commercial success.
The programme consists of five modules that, in combination, cover all the operations and activities that contribute to the sustainability of supplied ingredients.

Within your chosen module(s) VIVE assesses current performance and sets improvement objectives which are tracked at all stages along the supply chain, driving continuous improvement.
Embed the business practices and processes necessary for the implementation and maintenance of VIVE.
Ensure labour rights, safe & fair working conditions of all involved within the Supply Chain.
Manage facilities and work with supplying farmers to continually reduce impact upon the environment.
Ensuring traceability of raw materials back to source location.
VIVE recognises that participants will be at different stages in their sustainability journey with different priorities. The VIVE programme is made up of three steps, representing a gradual path to sustainability which can be tailored to each participant.

The VIVE programme is designed to be able to operate along the whole supply chain from producer to industrial end-user and comprehensively covers the key sustainability aspects within the areas of People, Planet and Profit.
VIVE is able to act as an ‘umbrella’ programme, benchmarked against other sustainability initiatives and standards. This enables one VIVE assessment to measure and benchmark your performance against several programmes at once, thus reducing ‘audit fatigue’.

VIVE Awards will be attributed to participants, highlighting their performance against the programme. In addition to this benchmark results will be delivered as part of the assessment report demonstrating the company sustainability achievements through a range of globally recognised standards.
The VIVE Awards, Claim & Excellence Awards, encourage participants to go above and beyond in their Sustainability Journey opening up commercial opportunities through demonstration of their achievements.
VIVE measures every aspect of your supply chain to identify best practice and highlight areas for improvement.
Participants can progress quickly identifying accurately the gaps in their supply chain and choosing their Improvement Plan according to their resources and needs for Improvement.
